Locals know that you can’t take marijuana or other drugs on the plane with you so they offer to see them to you on the island. It is best not to respond to the offer at all or soundly but politely reject the offer.

They are catering to the guest population who is not comfortable with the act of tipping and want to feel as if they don’t need to do it. Well, they don’t need to do it, but if you do you are likely to get first rate service for your entire stay. The same goes with bartenders. Tip them once or twice nd you won’t need to tip them again the entire trip. They will see you coming and already have your drink ready if you’ve established a regular drink.

Can You Really Have A Shark As A Pet?

One of the best activities at any aquarium is spotting the sharks in the giant tank. Sharks are perhaps the most fascinating animal in the entire ocean. They have made people afraid to go in the water since Jaws first hot movie screens in 1977 before spawning a series of sub par sequels. The sharks in those movies were Great White sharks which have been known to get to about 50 feet long in size. Not all sharks get that big however. So, are there some sharks small enough that you could keep them as pets even as they enter adulthood? The short answer to that question is yes but there are a few caveats.

1.) Tank size- There are a couple species of sharks that never really get that big, growing to a maximum of just a foot and a half. To be fair, a foot and a half is still a pretty good size. You will need a tank big enough for the shark to swim around in without being totally miserable. Male sure you have a tank that’s accommodating in size or a shark might not be the best pet for you.

2.) Keep him well fed- Sharks do like their food. The preference of sharks is to eat meat and there is a variety of sea life that will accommodate its appetite. For instance, a shark loves to eat clams and mussels. You can also feed a shark scallops and even shrimp. By this point you’re probably thinking being a shark must be great as they done on many of the same foods their human owners enjoy.

Sharks can make very interesting pets. They actually do have charisma and are endlessly fascinating to friends and guests who come over. They are also a responsibility to be taken very seriously. Don’t put a shark among other wish unless you want those other fish to be eaten. Likewise, don’t cramp a shark by having him reside in an undersized tank.

There are few vacation spots more beautiful than he Pacific Islands. The islands are broken up into three sets, each offering traditional warm weather activities such as scuba diving, snorkeling, and golf. Below are the three sets of islands as well as the main islands that comprise them:

Micronesia- Unlike Melanesia which is mostly one large island, Micronesia is comprised of much smaller islands. Guam is the most famous of these islands and attracts many divers and others who are looking to explore clear blue waters.

Polynesia- Polynesia isn’t known for being a big or small island, instead, it is renowned for being many islands. Included in this set of islands is both New Zealand as well as the Hawaiian Islands.

The Pacific Islands are divided into high islands and low islands which is how they are generally best known to tourists.
